Aerospace Education

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Aerospace Education Program is a program designed to educate CAP members and the general public about aerospace and its impact on society. The program has three primary components:

  1. Aerospace Education for Members: CAP members receive education and training in aerospace-related subjects, including flight and navigation, aircraft systems, meteorology, space technology, and other related topics.

  2. Aerospace Education for Youth: The CAP also provides aerospace education programs for young people, including programs for school-age children and youth interested in aviation or aerospace careers.

  3. External Aerospace Education: The CAP provides aerospace education and outreach to the general public through various activities and events, such as aerospace exhibits, aerospace education workshops, and other outreach activities.

The CAP Aerospace Education Program is designed to promote interest in aviation and aerospace among CAP members and the public, and to help develop the aerospace workforce of the future. The program also serves as an important tool for promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and encouraging young people to pursue careers in science and engineering.
